For smaller files (under 30MB), the easist way to upload is with an HTTP upload. To use the HTTP upload, just navigate to "Upload > Media Manager", and click the upload button. Then just click the "Browse" button and select the file you'd like to upload. Once you have selected the file, click the upload button. That's it!
