6.1. How to Embed Your Podcast on Other Sites

Eager to share your podcast to millions users in Facebook, MySpace, or integrate to your own blogs and websites? The embeddable Player is designed just for this purpose. Our unique "Embed Once, Use Forever" feature lets you do a one time, simple Copy and Paste and the playlist will be updated automatically in the future. Podbean offers two types of players:

Embed Your Entire Podcast - To get the embed code for your Podcast Player, simply click the "Manage" tab, then the "Embeddable Player" sub-tab. For Facebook users, click the link for Facebook and follow the steps. For other websites, select the color and size of the player and then click "Get Embed Code". Note that there is a "MP3 Audio Player" link beside the headline of the page. This is an audio player with similar features, but only collects the episodes in the MP3 audio format.

Embed a Single Episode - To get the embed code for the Podcast Player for a single episode, just click the "Manage" tab, and then the "Posts" sub-tab. Finally, just click the "embed code" button at right side of the post.

Once you publish a new podcast episode, some backend work is needed before the player is updated, such as video encoding, generating thumbnail, regenerating the playlist, etc. This may take up to 24 hours to complete, so do not be alarmed if your player is not instantly updated.
