In 2007-AD there currently exists among scientists concerning atmospheric science, ignorance and disagreement which can be broken down into over-simplified camps as those scientists supporting the argument that global warming is anthropogenic (man caused) and disaster looms just around the corner requiring mandatory international repairs right now and those scientists supporting the argument that global warming is unstoppable and resulting primarily from 1500 year long solar cycles (sun spot cycles) supported by an abundance of evidence from ancient and verifiable records dating back half a billion years, that even including man’s contribution to atmospheric carbon levels, the earth remains well within normalcy.  Within both groups there are many over lapping areas of agreement, especially on environmental clean-up and responsible stewardship of resources. Yet a political war of words, deception, and dubious claims rages on as the 2008 US Presidential Elections near.
