Yes, this is another one of those to go upon the lengthy list of reasons for why Japan is ubercool and we’re still just cool. Ok, so you’re in the parking lot an you just happen to come across a nice enough red FD with a lump of carbon fiber and some very serious looking Ray’s Engineering wheels. So you’re probably thinking, hmmm driver profile: young dude, probably diggs MTV, likes hip hop, rock, girls, stuff, maybe he’s a student, or dating students, more girls, anyway, that’s where you’d be wrong, or more specifically, very wrong. Because what you’d never guess is that the owner of that oh so tasty vehicle is a doctor practicing gastrointestinal endoscopy (big word, I know), with a PhD. That’s right, so while you’re umm “busy” watching 50 Cent, Dr. Wada is also actually busy looking at lower intestines. Nasty. But when he’s not checking for IBS, he’s checking the competition on track in the very FD which we speak about. As a matter of fact, he holds several course records in his stock twin turbo rotary monster. Not your average doctor eh? And that wraps up another good reason for why Japan is cooler than the U.S. folks. Besides their extensive research of the female anatomy (insert naughty giggle here) when’s the last time you and you’re doc had a conversation about the health of your turbo’s guts for example?
