Bit late this week but what a week it’s been. Full of passion, emotion and excitement and some of it even during a game. No clearing of the Premier League’s muddy bits, in fact Chelsea’s win putting them level on points with the defending champs only helped to make a little dirtier; Everton and Aston Villa maintained their status quo with a draw and it’s even tighter at the bottom with Fulham staring down relegation.

There was history made in the Champions League as two English clubs made it through and Rangers also made it through to the UEFA Cup - so no Italian or Spanish representation in either of Europe’s premier cup comps.

And just to top it off, we had the commotion at Stamford Bridge after the game and the ludicrous news that Sven will be getting the chop as manager at City.

Draw breath now, cos it’s almost the weekend again….
