1. FaithThis past Sunday Tim Jones brings a message of faith. What is faith and what part does it play in accomplishing our agenda? How do we know what to do or where to go? It comes from the Holy Spirit. Grab your Bible and let’s find out how.
5/23/2013 2. Righteousness is Preserved (2 Peter, Par...Last week we saw three examples of judgment for ungodliness. God judged angels for jumping across the boundaries He established, we saw the wicked people of earth destroyed by a flood, and we saw Sodom and Gomorrah reduced to ashes. These serve as reminders to us that judgment is coming. Where there is judgment, there is also hope. Not everyone was destroyed in the examples we looked at. This morning, we’re going to evaluate the people that God preserved in these examples and the reasons why He di... 5/12/2013 3. Judgment Comes (2 Peter, Part 12)Last week we learned that false teachers and false prophets were already among us and that they would lead many Christians astray. They do it by teaching things that are not true and too many Christians don’t realize it because as a whole, the church doesn’t study the Bible. The best way to combat false teaching is to be a student of God’s Word and learn its truths. This morning Peter enters what if land through a series of rhetorical questions.
2 Pet. 2:4-6 tells u... 5/5/2013 4. Don’t be a Victim (2 Peter, Part 1...Last time, Peter warned us that there would be false prophets and false teachers in the church. Sadly, they’re here and they teach things that lead Christ followers away from the truth. How can this be? What do they teach and what drives them? Great questions that Pastor Ian will answer this morning.
Grab your Bible and hang on as we find out why Peter tells us,”Don’t be a Victim” from 2 Peter 2:2-3.

(2 Peter,...Last time we were in 2 Peter, we saw that prophecy of Scripture does not come from any human source and neither does its interpretation. There can’t be different meanings for prophecies or Bible verses depending on who you are. As we move to Chapter two, we’ll see the link between them is prophecy. Peter told his readers to pay attention to the prophecies of Scripture because their source is God. Since the Holy Spirit inspired the prophets, the Scriptures should be trusted because both the revela... 4/21/2013 6. The Armor of GodPastor Aaron Mitchell is with us this morning to open God’s Word. Pastor Aaron is in the process of planting a church in North Jacksonville, FL that will be a sister church to C4. We look forward to helping them and ministering with them in the future and watching as the Lord moves in mighty ways.
Grab your Bible and turn to Ephesians 6. Pastor Aaron discusses, “The Full Armor of God” in a message full of grace and mercy with a surprise ending. We trust you&... 4/14/2013 7. It Doesn’t Matter What You Think (...Last week Peter established that he didn’t come at his readers with fairy tales about the second coming of Christ. He was an eyewitness of Jesus’ power and of God’s affirmation and approval of Christ on the holy mountain. This morning Peter tells us that no matter what you think, you’re not the inventor of prophecy.
2 Pet. 1:19-21 says, “So we have the prophetic word made more 4/7/2013 8. Living PowerfullyToday is Easter, the most anticipated, celebrated day in the life of all Christians. It was this day we celebrate the prophecy of Jesus being raised from the dead. How was Jesus raised? By the same power of God that created the universe and all that it contains! What’s really neat is that God shares that power with each of His children. Too many professing Christians don’t have that power in their lives. They’re disconnected. How can we live powerfully for God? Let’s find out... 3/31/2013 9. The Eyewitness (2 Peter, Part 8)Peter has encouraged his readers to stay strong and demonstrate the qualities that signify a growing, vibrant relationship with Christ. This morning Peter doesn’t develop the crafty, devious schemes like the false teachers of his day.
2 Peter 1:16-18 says, “For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For when He... 3/24/2013 10. Missions and PersecutionWe are truly blessed to have Pastor Rick Arreola from Hidden Treasures Assembly of God church in Kingsland, GA.
