In this mini-lesson we explore some vocabulary which might be encountered while on vacation. We visited Bailey Island, Maine and enjoyed fresh sea air, sunshine, the spectacular rocky coast and, of course, Maine lobster.

We decided to take a week’s vacation in Egypt to escape the winter cold of Ukraine.  Our trip lasted from January 13 to January 20.  While there we visited the Pyramids, the Sphinx, Cairo, Karnak Temple, Luxor, the Al-Deir Al-Bahari Temple,  and the Valley of the Kings.

This song is about a crow who mistakes billiard balls for a clutch of abandoned eggs and sits on them.  Amazingly, the “eggs” hatch with the baby birds having numbers on their backs.
