JCullum: Georgie Fame 090413Jamie celebrates Georgie Fame’s appearance at Cheltenham Jazz Festival by pulling out a session track from the BBC Archives, recorded at a Hoagy Carmichael tribute concert in 1984. Jamie picks classic music from Herbie Hancock and Alice Coltrane, as well as piano tracks by Mose Allison, Kit Downes and Robert Glasper. Modern tracks come from production duo MRR-ADM, alongside new music from bassist Kyle Eastwood, Norwegian saxophonist Marius Neset and a ballad from Liane Carroll. 4/9/2013
