Episode #14 - Gerry Gray former Canadian Men's national team star joins the Snobs. Gerry is Soccer Snob Stephen's cousin and Stephen idolized Gerry growing up. What more can you ask for in an episode? Canada National team stories, World Cup 1986 stories still the only World Cup Canada has qualified for, NASL stories, MISL stories, CSL stories, 1984 Olympics stories!!! Geez, Gerry played for the Whitecaps, NY Cosmos, Chicago Sting, etc. etc. He played against Maradona in 1984 with the NY Cosmos taking on Barcelona. When asked about playing Maradona, Gray replied: "I don't know what did Maradona say about playing against Gerry Gray!" Amazing, oh and WHAT a goal in the Azteca he scored!!!
