Richard B. Foulkes, M.D., graduated from Chicago's Rush Medical College in the top 10% of his class. He studied ophthalmology at Cornell Medical College and the Catholic Medical Center in New York, earning chief residency status in his third year.
Dr. Foulkes believes that LASIK vision correction has the power not only to change patients' lives but also the world. He has made LASIK surgery the focus of his practice at Foulkes Vision for nearly 20 years, performing more than 48,000 procedures. Dr. Foulkes also has extensive experience with surgery to remove cataracts and implant premium intraocular lenses for patients suffering vision loss; he has performed over 20,000 cataract surgeries to date.
