First, I hope everyone out there is feeling well and staying safe. There is an uptick of Coronavirus positive cases so please be careful out there.
There are many issues affecting us on Long Island and the nation and world as a whole: the health pandemic, racial disparity, climate change, upcoming election. The list goes on. To that end, we want to be a part of the solution, not the problem. As they say, all politics are local. So, today we will focus on issues facing the criminal justice system in New York State and specifically on Long Island. Our discussion today concerns:
Our guest on this 55th episode is Daniel A. Johnston, Esq., an attorney specializing in Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, and Business and Consumer Litigation. Dan is a former prosecutor in the Nassau County District Attorney’s office who has also handled civil litigation defense matters in large NYC firms.
