Rev. Ed Bastien is a hospital chaplain and local church pastor in Ohio. He is also my brother-in-law. In this episode, we talk about God redeeming all of our stuff. We talk about self-care, especially in light of Covid19. And we talk about leaving our baggage at the Cross. It is a raw conversation and a reminder of how much we need God's grace. I believe there are many who need these encouraging words right now. Please pass it along to someone who needs this reminder!

God, grant me the Serenity
To accept the things I cannot change...
Courage to change the things I can,
And Wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.
Taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it.
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His will.
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with Him forever in the next.
Amen.
