Mark Guerrero interviews the late, great songwriter and recording artist, Hirth Martinez. In the mid-70s Hirth recorded two albums on Warner Brothers Records. The first, "Hirth From Earth," was produced by Robbie Robertson of the Band, the second, "Big Bright Street," by John Simon. His extraordinary songs have been covered by Paul Butterfield, Manfred Mann, Julio Iglesias, and many others.
