In this episode, you'll learn how one Veteran became a top voice at LinkedIn and how you can effectively leverage LinkedIn to gain the career you desire.
Daniel Savage, Head of Military & Veterans Programs at LinkedIn, is a West Point graduate, has a Masters from Harvard, and helped launched the Onward to Opportunity program, through the Institute for Veterans and Military Families, which helps active duty prepare for life after the military.
But it wasn't always easy. In Dan's words, “Career transitions are never easy. As a military veteran, I found the transition from military to civilian life to be daunting, and the ambiguity around choosing a civilian career path to be disorienting. I’ve been incredibly fortunate – along my journey, a handful of key leaders have invested in me, and I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to work on numerous projects geared toward helping others navigate their own transition.”
This episode will provide some insight and a bit of "what to do" and "what not to do" when it comes to your own transition.
