April De Angelis is one the UK's leading playwrights and an all round brilliant person.
She has been commissioned by just about everybody, including The National Theatre, The Royal Court and The RSC. She began writing as a student in the 80's as part of feminist theatre company, the reSisters. Since then she has accomplished an astounding range of original work plus some hugely impressive adaptations, such as Wuthering Heights and, most recently, My Brilliant Friend.
