Dr. Kim Lambert, Associate Registrar - Quality Practice, and Dr. Susan Sabatini, Practice Advisor, discuss the College of Veterinarians of Ontario’s new standards which concern veterinary obligations related to drugs. Council recently approved four new policy documents which cover prescribing, dispensing, extra-label drug use and compounding. These documents, along with their accompanying guides, outline the expectations to veterinarians and the public in this important area of veterinary medicine.
