GO FORWARD CONFERENCE || DAY 16 (part b) ||Prayer,Faith, Miracles, Watchfulness, Thanksgiving |CHIMDI OHAHUNA
Welcome to this session of the Go Forward Conference ’24, where we will examine the transformative command to ‘Rise Up’ according to Deuteronomy 2:24. In the previous teaching session, we explored the necessity of continuing in faith. Now, we turn our focus to another vital aspect of our walk with Christ: the discipline of continuing in prayers and watching in thanksgiving, as highlighted in Colossians 4:3. This teaching explains why prayer must be accompanied by watchfulness. Living watchfully means preparing for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, ensuring that our prayers are not just words but part of a vigilant lifestyle. As we delve into 1 Thessalonians 5:17, we’ll discuss how being watchful equips us to receive divine messages both during and after our prayers. Also, explore why we pray – not out of fear of the enemy, but from a deep-seated need for God. Prayer, when coupled with watchfulness, opens our eyes to the manifestation of signs and miracles. Being watchful involves both spiritual and physical alertness, fostering not just a prayer life but a life reflective of Christian virtues. This teaching session challenges the notion of being a ‘prayer warrior’ with a flawed/bad character, emphasizing that true watchfulness manifests the fruits of the Spirit. Discover how miracles can be hindered when prayers lack watchfulness, and why developing godly character is crucial for effective prayer. The teaching also emphasizes the role of thanksgiving in prayer. As we watch, we should also give thanks to acknowledge God’s works and step forward in faith. Thanksgiving, born from watchfulness, enhances our spiritual journey, making us more appreciative and proactive in our faith. Join us and receive revelation light on how to integrate watchfulness and thanksgiving into our daily prayers, transforming how we engage with God and anticipate His work in our lives.
Grace to You!
Jesus is Lord.
