Kayana is a singer-songwriter and producer born and raised in New York. Music was Kayana’s first language, having learned piano at age 3 from her mother, a classical and jazz pianist. Since then, she has become a multi-instrumentalist, writing and performing original songs starting at a young age. Kayana has explored various genres of music from singing in church, musical theatre, and local jazz bars. With influences ranging from H.E.R., Ella Mai, Tori Kelly, and Khalid, Kayana’s sound fuses pop and R&B with soulful and jazzy undertones.
