The case-by-case basis for allowing nurse case managers: It's not mandatory to have a nurse case manager, and the decision can be made by the injured worker or their lawyer. Some lawyers never allow them, but the speaker permits them selectively to avoid unnecessary conflicts with insurance companies. Rules for nurse case managers: To prevent undue influence on the case, specific restrictions are placed on nurse case managers.
