HOLLYWOOD DECODED ON GAIA! RODDENBERRY-STARTREK! DAVID LYNCH-TWIN PEAKS! & KUBRICK’S EYES WIDE SHUT!

This afternoon I delved into some film criticism! This is really great #filmcriticism by #JayWeidner! #StarTrek with #WilliamShatner and #LeonardNimoy was intentionally futuristic to prepare us for what is to come? and set the tone for all #scifi films thereafter, by incorporating things like #automation, concepts of #timetravel #physics #spacetravel and references to #panspermia, or the concept that all is one; and #gnostic notions that "we are all made up of a community of other people". The #randcorporation was heavily influencing #StarTrek's early production and story line creation. "Lynch loves to discuss shamanism" & said in interviews he believes there are other planes of existence. In #twinpeaks we have a black Lodge and a white Lodge - the hosts discuss the #duality in this movie where America is portrayed in Stark contrasts, like some kind of #soap opera. The small town turns out to be in the throes of a secret #deathcult, & director #Lynch turns it into a slightly goofy one at that! This is #satire at its finest. #DavidLynch was heavily influenced by #tibetanBuddhism; he meditated in that style. #StanleyKubrick's #eyeswideshut came out on the anniversary of his 2001 A Space Odyssey; and he died 666 days after the premier of his greatest film. Coincidence? Obviously interested in the #occult! His daughter, the light of his life, left home and joined the #Scientology cult. He was heartbroken and I think the relationship between #TomCruise and #NicoleKidman in the film mirrors the sense of absolute loss he must have felt with his daughter, who didn't even attend his funeral, or her sister's for that matter. The #symbolism is clearly evocative of many aspects of the #occult, like #reversal (speaking backwards), #owls eight pointed Stars of #Ishtar; #Saturn, masks signs of secrecy, 🤫 elements of human trafficking, in minors, and references to "the #Windsors" and Royalty.. and that is it it is organized by the billionaire class! #Mindcontrol and surveillance are all parts of this scene. I heard that it was no coincidence #Kubrick died shortly after eyes wide shut came out! Was it too uncomfortable for the powers that be, I wonder 🤔 Three shows in one! Everybody go subscribe to Gaia- best programming in the universe! PS : I turned down #NYU film school! Tisch School of the arts 😁 At Oxford, I was in the #Oxfordstudentfilmsociety and was producer on a student production called #OxfordCowboy. I've written, directed, produced a couple films that have been in #filmfestivals, particularly the #urbannomad film festival in #Taiwan. I'm proudest of my deeply philosophical comedy called #dearhands, about a man who wakes up and his hands have gone on walkabouts!
