That’s the assessment of a DUP MEP, on indications of what is contained in a draft Brexit deal, being considered today by governments in Dublin and London.
It is understood to include a UK wide backstop proposal aimed at ensuring no return of a hard border in Ireland, once Britain leaves the European Union.
Northern Ireland MEP Diane Dodds doesn’t believe such a move would address her party’s concerns the North will be treated separately to Britain:
