Proverbs 29:25 says, "The fear of man brings a snare, But he who trusts in the LORD will be exalted." God has imprinted in every heart a desire for acceptance. It is universal. Because of this the fear of man is a strong snare against our souls. Only the love of God frees you from this. You can’t understand other people until you become free from the fear of what other people say about you or do to you.
