In today's episode I share a message that is strong on my heart and has been coming from many angles. I pray you recieve it the way you are meant to hear it... When we battle with weight is a means in which the enermy has a foothold to keep us distracted just enough to put a regulator on our ability to full know, experience and give our greatest potential in our purpose....
“I beseech you therefor, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” Romans 12:1
God does not care if you have six pack abs
However He does call us to honor our bodies.
By your food choices, are you feeding your body health or dis-ease
By your choose in daily movement are you strengthening your body or enabling weakness?
Choosing what is for your highest good, choosing to honor God in this way is not easy...
In fact, through my own personal journey and coaching women for over a decade, I know taking time and attention to care for our bodies is HARD.
Ever wonder why?
Ever consider the why might be because the enemy knows it’s a subtle foothold that women all to often over look... (supported by societal norms)
So, we tolerate the battle between comfort food, convenience and creating healthy thoughts, and habits that align with our highest good.
“And do not be conformed of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God” Romans 12:2
We are not called to lead common lives and blend in with society.
We are called to higher standards
You are created on purpose for a unique and greater purpose
The enemy would love nothing more than to get you discouraged or distracted
JUST enough distraction or discouragement to create static in your ability to hear, pursue and live our your fullest and greatest purpose.
Don’t let the enemy have a foothold through physical discomfort and/or a bondage to food
This battle is not easy to overcome it is 100% possible
I am living proof that it’s possible and there’s even more for you and in you on the other side of it
First step is awareness
Second step is intentionally do the inner work.... it starts with your thoughts not the foods
