In light of the recent events, and violence that sent shockwaves around the globe, the brothers turn to the Cross as a banner that can give us a tremendous amount of hope. What does the Holy Cross teach us about suffering in our world and in our personal lives? Suffering is often misunderstood, in the franciscan tradition suffering is redemptive which means that it can be a source of goodness, triumph and transformation. 

The brothers talk about their own experiences of suffering, how they handle it and some ways we can unite it to Christ on the cross.
