In our season two premiere episode, ACCT speaks with Iowa Western Community College’s Connie Hornbeck about how her extraordinary upbringing in rural Iowa led her from a one-room schoolhouse and cornfields to taking the helm of a national education association.
Hornbeck is the vice president of IWCC’s board of trustees, and current chair of the ACCT board of directors.
She has pledged to focus on member engagement and extending opportunities to our incarcerated brothers and sisters through community and technical colleges.
