Local TD to chair Global Working Group on Science and Technology

Local TD Denis Naughten has been elected as Chairperson of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Working Group on Science & Technology.

It is composed of 21 members of parliament from across the five continents who have specific relevant knowledge and experience.

The role of the working group is to inspire global parliamentary action through legislative work in the field of science and technology.
