Yet, I also knew there were biomedical scientists, including some of my own colleagues, working within the mainstream sciences who have deeper spiritual understandings of who we are as people and of the conscious universe at large. I also knew that many of them were working in their own way to bridge the so-called “gap between science and spirituality.” They were working to overcome the materialism and its choking effects on the progress of the sciences that could ultimately help support a future spiritual life of humanity.” -Paul J.
