Episode 38 - What Growing Up in the Hood has Done for me as a Man

We are products of our environment. Personally I grew up in a very rough neighbourhood in uptown Toronto and have seen, witnessed and participated in things that I hope my son never has to. This has prompted me to move to a safer city for his birth. A lot of people grow in similar situations and become victims of their circumstances for a very long time. I hope this provides some hope and perspective to those and others who may feel hopeless because of what they look like and where they came from.
