Continuing with the theme of integrity, we turn today to 1 John 1:5-10. Light (goodness) and darkness (sin) are contrasted in this passage. God is light. He is the greatest example of integrity. We, on the other hand, walk in darkness from time to time because of our sin. Only when we walk in light can we have fellowship with God. How do we do this? We confess our sin as soon as we are aware of it.
