When it comes to doing the things we know we need or could be doing to upgrade our life, we find objections. We also find obstacles between us and the things we know we ned to do. These should be expected as part of the process.
Common objections are around
Common obstacles involve the following.
When you get clear on our obstacles, how they show up, what they are, you can lean into them, move through them, learn from them and use that learning as fuel to meet your desired outcome. To do the thing that you know you ned to be doing.
This is the process of transformation. To meet greet and respond to all the shit that comes up up. No feeding the aversions, rather welcoming them and seeing them as opportunities to learn how to do something differently.
Turn our objections into objectives.
- I can’t loose the weight because I don’t know how to cook
- In order for me to loose some weight I need to learn how to cook some healthy food.
- What are your objections around beginning to make the changes you know you need to make?
Write them down. Share them with someone, get clear on what they look like and how they show up.
- Is it an outdated or Mal-aligned desire?
- Is it an aversion to this or that? Think regular bed time, routine, the belief that structure limits spontaneity.
- Is it ignorance around the importance of supporting yourself in the various ways for a long healthy life?
This is part of the evolution of your identity and aligning it with the type of person who cooks for themselves.
Commit to the objective.
Ask for help when needed,
So write down your main vision, that state of experience you deserve to embody.
Get clear on the objections, those things in the way between you and that state of embodiment,
Get ready to lean into and use those obstacles and objections as fuel to access that state of embodiment,
Then get clear on action steps to begin the process.
