Part 1 – Neville James kicks off VI History Month with a brief look at the life of Edward Blyden. Neville highlights Blyden's many accomplishments. Born on St. Thomas on August 3, 1832, Blyden is regarded as the founder of Pan-Africanism. Neville then talks about Alexander Hamilton's life and growing up on St Croix as well as the success of Hamilton, the long running Broadway musical spotlighting Hamilton's life and roll in the founding of America.
