With March upon us, today is the First Friday of March and Geoff Hammond is once again back with us, as promised about the First Friday of everyone month. A reminder that Geoff is a professional funraiser and the planned giving officer at Saint Ignatius Collegeg Prep, as well as the Section Representative of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre for the Archdiocese of Chicago. Geoff is happy to be back here, after being absent last time, but is doing much better and good. On this second Friday, Geoff offers much as promised for the First Friday’s again and today he focuses on the Sacred Heart Of Jesus and shares how special this day is and the Adoration to Him, as well as devotion. The Anima Christi is a prayer the Geoff shares with us on this Friday as well, explaining it’s importance, as well as history and use for us to pray to Jesus and God. He also reminds us that Lent is upon us and says “Happy Lent” reminding us about “purifying” ourselves and accept God with us here. He also brings up more on reparation and how God draws us to Him and not away from Him. To contact Geoff Hammond, email him at: contemplativesinactionchicago@gmail.com
