In this episode of Cousin Ed's Corner, I had the pleasure of talking to Jamila Moore, a successful business attorney and IP attorney. Jamila shared with us her inspiring journey of becoming a lawyer, and how she founded I AM MOORE CONSULTING LLC. She talked about her childhood aspirations of wanting to make money and get out of LA, and how she found her passion for justice. Jamila shared her experiences of teaching in Brooklyn's lower-income neighborhoods and how that shaped her as a lawyer. We discussed the importance of protecting a business's intellectual property and brand, and how Jamila helps her clients to do that. This episode is a must-listen for anyone interested in law, entrepreneurship, and Women's History Month.
