James 1:1-12

Trials! They come in all sizes and shapes. They're never fun, almost always devastating, and difficult at best. Being diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Smoker's Lung Cancer in August 2024 was one of the worst trials I've experienced. In James 1, he writes we are to "consider" trials as all joy knowing...." then he continues with why. Crazy? Yes, humanly it is. But through Christ, it is possible because Jesus lives in us and He shows us how He withstood the trial of the cross.
