Gail joins Carol n Cheryl in this episode and shares her leg amputation story. Gail worked in the travel industry, and was an active dancer, hiker and swimmer. She slipped on black ice and her life changed forever. Gail shares her experience with fantom pain, setting goals and how important good support is after surgery. A note from Gail: I would like to thank my wonderful spouse Howie, my OT and PT team at Sarasota Memorial rehab, my doctors and nurses, Hermun and Robyn at OPC and the incredible Elizabeth Trefil of Auto Owners insurance along with all my friends here in Florida and in Michigan for their assistance, encouragement and support
