The Tragedy of Pride

This message on Judges 12:1-6 looks at Israel's first civil war when God used Jephthah to discipline the tribe of Ephraim because of their pride. It teaches us that everyone is prideful [1]; pride turns us against one another [2-6]; and, God opposes the proud [6]. The message encourages us to escape the tragedy of pride by taking refuge in Jesus. The sermon is part of our series in Judges preached in 2017-18.
