Directed by Sirkis and produced under the leadership of Doherty, Alabama Story follows the story of a state librarian who becomes the center of a political and social controversy, and delves into themes of censorship, civil rights, and intellectual freedom, offering audiences a compelling mix of drama, poignancy, and humor.
With a cast of seven local performers, the production aims to connect with the community by shedding light on a pivotal moment in Alabama’s history.
