Episode # 3024 - The Issue Of Abuse From Domestic Violence Within The Marriage

Mike Stark is back with us this Tuesday and he is joined by Father Chuck Dahm, a Dominican Priest from the Archdiocese of Chicago.  Today, the topic is very serious, talking about women who have suffered abuse from domestic violence in their marriages.  Father Chuck, who has dealt with this issue a lot, discusses with Mike not only facts on this subject, but both share emotional stories of those they’ve helped or known that have gone through this.  Father Chuck points out programs he’s organized to help victims of domestic violence, as well as to provide help to perpetrators who want to change after committing this horrible thing.  These two also share possible causes of domestic violence, as well as what the Church has been doing to help.  For more information or if you know someone going through abuse from domestic violence, visit online at:
