Veteran Kristy’s experience an asset in supporting others - Open Conversations

Kristy joined the Navy straight out of school but was medically discharged just two years later with a serious back injury.

Coming from a proud lineage of veterans, transition left her feeling isolated and rudderless. But being able to use her lived experience to support veterans and veteran families has given her newfound meaning.
