Welcome to March. Spring is sprung in the Northern Hemisphere. Sunday 10th March in the UK is 'Mothering Sunday' - different from the US 'Mother's Day' in that it was intended to be about honouring 'mother Church' - such an irony given the patriarchal Church teachings of 2000 years! However, today we go to the root of Mothering and its meaning and how we can be mothers for the planet - and each other - whatever our sex and children of the planet and each other too.
