Local TD calls for further development of pre-hospital services and paramedics training

Galway East TD Sean Canney is calling on the Department of Health to prioritise the development of pre-hospital services.

He has told the Dáil there is huge potential for paramedics to receive extra medical training, to boost the level of care they provide to local communities.

Deputy Canney also refreshed his call for a second full-time ambulance at the Tuam base.
