Cultural Awareness and US Embassy Nursing

This show features alumna Marie Lewis who discusses working in the health units of the US Embassies of Morocco and Jordan. She explains the nursing skills used to support others while learning from them culturally. Marie currently works at the Virginia Hospital Center Outpatient Clinic serving the uninsured populations. We also hear from second-semester nursing student Charity Cordova who wrote a song about learning the Healer’s art.
