Mid-Session 21 Sep 2021: Aussie stocks bounce off early lows despite US tumble

The Australian sharemarket has recovered from this morning's lows despite a 1.7% slide for the S&P500 overnight. This follows the ASX 200's 2.1% tumble on Monday; the worst decline in seven months for Aussie stocks.
