With election time looming there are a myriad of voices and opinions, each with their own significance and validity. How do we decipher all the noise and rhetoric and as a Christian, how involved should we be? Some Christian circles advocate for a view of patriotism that’s nearly equal with the Kingdom of God (Patrianity) while others believe a life of faith reduces the need to be civically minded or involved. Furthermore, how can we define what it means to be patriotic in an ever-changing America?
