38 - Lost in Amber by Esther Rabbit

Three close friends, Zoey, Sam, and Emma, are all dealing with recent break-ups and just trying to lift each other’s spirits. When Sam gets kidnapped and Zoey discovers she has been genetically altered by an alien things take a weird turn. The women pull together in a fierce example of “girl power” and show the aliens what these humans are made of. This is our first sci-fi leaning paranormal and we were really intrigued by the story.
