Reconcilliation & Church Discipline Pt. 1 | Sunday Sermon

Jesus teaches that true righteousness is not merely external obedience to the law, but inward purity of heart, warning that harboring anger or lust is as sinful as murder or adultery in God's eyes. He emphasizes the seriousness of unresolved conflict, teaching that reconciliation with others must precede worship, as broken relationships hinder true fellowship with God. Jesus asserts divine authority over the law and reveals that God judges not only our actions, but also the motives and desires within our hearts. True worship, therefore, requires honesty, humility, and intentional restoration in our human relationships, reflecting the reconciling love God has shown us through Christ.
