Day 172: 1st Kings 10-11 and 2nd Chronicles 9

Today on Meditating the Word, the Queen of Sheba visits Solomon, Solomon sins against God, adversaries arise against Solomon, Jereboam's reign is prophesided, and the death of Solomon.

This is Day 172. Today we are reading 1st Kings 10 and 11 and 2nd Chronicles 9

Father God, for all of his wisdom, Solomon still made a terrible mistake. He took foreign wives, and followed after their gods. It's hard to understand. Even Molech, the god the children were sacrificed to. We realize through Solomon, there are different kinds of wisdom. There is earthly wisdom, and there is godly wisdom. Help us to follow after Your truth and Your wisdom, Father, and to not go astray. May our last days bring you even more glory than our present. Amen
