The Sportscenetv Weekly Prep Sports Podcast recaps our prep football game of the week coverage Colony vs. Ayala. We also look at other area high school football scores for Week 8 games. 

In segment two, we add two more student athletes to our Sportscenetv Scholar Athlete roster. Cole McCain is a four year starter at the quarterback position at Ayala High School. The Bulldog's quarterback currently holds a grade point average over 4.0 and math is his favorite class. We also add Gilbert Duran of the Ayala Bulldogs football program. Duran is a team leader that also enjoys math as his favorite subject and holds a grade point average of 3.6 and a senior. We welcome both students to the elite roster of the Sportscenetv Scholar Athletes for 2019.

Finally, in segment three we recap the CIF-SS Top 10 Prep Football Polls and the upcoming games. We mention our game of the week will be South Hills at Diamond Ranch. We also look at the CIF-SS press release that explains the formal way teams in Division 1/2 will be categorized and if the season were over today what area teams would be in the playoffs.
