Today we discuss the right and left’s reactions to the raid on Trump’s Florida estate and what it means that both parties are taking aim at Americans’ faith in our institutions—from a place of bad faith. How much, or what kind of, institutional distrust is a good thing? What’s the distinction between low faith and low trust? We also pick apart the environmental provisions of the IRA Reduction Act and find that its eco-friendly promises are a lot of hot air. Finally, two more alphabet soup institutions lose two legendary actors: Dr. Science departs the CDCP; and Brian Stelter is ousted from CNN! We discuss.
