Dr. Ken Grey is an ex-New Yorker who found his calling after a car accident while living in Florida. This incident exposed him to healing work by a Chiropractor. It brought him to understand other ways of healing he was not aware of. He trained in oriental medicine but since then has not stopped training in new and unusual approaches such as how to use homeopathic remedies with an acupuncture needle. An approach that helped a woman stop mouth pain she had suffered with for six years, that no dentist could fix, from root canal to taking the tooth the pain would not go away until Dr Grey used this particular approach. His concern with the medical community is if they cannot heal someone then ask the patient to look for alternatives, because it shows a form of compassion instead an attitude of there is nothing that can be done for this person. We've done everything possible, which is often not true. He points out that often families are the ones who send him patients who have given up hope with a certain condition. The person can no longer find a solution and runs the danger of ending their life through overdosing on too much pain medication. He continues to learn and is always finding new approaches on how to help a patient who cannot be helped the conventional way. For example patients who have severe reactions to anesthesia will call him into the surgery room to apply acupuncture needs while the patient is being operated on so they can metabolize the anesthesia well and will not become addicted to a drug if the person has been known for that, even through post op, Dr. Grey continues to apply the needles to help the patient recover well and have no side effects from the operation, so they will heal very quickly and experience a better quality of life afterwards. Dr. Grey has also started a patient holistic health app on his website called Vell Health, to help anyone who like to optimize their health on demand based on The Five Pillars which are Nutrition, Supplements, Fitness, Mind-Body, and Treatments such as physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, and cranial sacral therapy.
